21bet’s affiliate program is a fairly straightforward to understand, but the headline 25% to 35% RevShare is not the part I would pay most attention to. The more important details sit underneath it. You need at least four qualifying new customers in a month to remain active, there is a $100 payout threshold, and the agreement gives 21Partners considerable control over which traffic sources and promotional methods you can use. On the positive side, there is no standard negative carryover, and the programme has a proper reporting setup rather than just giving publishers a tracking link and leaving them to it.
How to Join 21Partners
Registration is quick. You can start with an email address or use Google. Email registration then asks you to:
- Enter your email.
- Choose a display name.
- Create a password.
- Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Create the account.
- Enter the six-digit email verification code.
Getting an account does not mean you are automatically free to start sending traffic. Applications are reviewed, and promotion should only begin once the affiliate account has been approved. 21bet can also request KYC and business documentation, including ID, proof of address, company documents, tax information and payment details.
21bet Commission
The commission ladder starts at 25% RevShare and climbs through:
- 25% Bronze
- 27% Silver
- 29% Gold
- 31% Platinum
- 33% Diamond
- 35% Obsidian
That is easy enough to follow, and the landing page pitches 35% as the top standard tier.
There is a little more room behind the scenes. The affiliate agreement sets the default Revenue Share at 25% and allows discretionary increases based on traffic quality, player retention, compliance and general performance. The legal ceiling for that uplift is actually 40%, although you should not treat that as an automatic tier you will eventually reach.
CPA, Fixed Fee and Hybrid deals are also possible, but those are individually agreed rather than something you simply select when registering. For an established affiliate with decent traffic, I would speak to the affiliate manager rather than assuming the public RevShare ladder is the only deal available.
The Four-Player Rule Matters
This is the term small publishers need to notice. To count as an Active Affiliate, you need at least four new players registered for 21bet a month. If you do not hit that mark, the Revenue Share that would otherwise have accrued for that month is forfeited rather than carried forward.
That makes 21Partners much more interesting for a site already capable of producing regular conversions than for somebody sending the occasional player. The $100 minimum payout itself is normal enough. Balances below $100 roll forward until you reach the threshold.
No Negative Carryover
This is one of the better parts of the deal. Under the standard Revenue Share setup, a negative month resets to zero rather than following you into the next month. If your referred players win heavily in October, you do not normally start November buried under that negative balance.
There is an exception for a serious high roller. If one customer creates $10,000 or more in negative Net Revenue in a month, 21 Partners can ring-fence that particular player and carry their negative balance forward against their own future revenue. It does not automatically drag the rest of your player base down with them.
That is a much better arrangement than programmes that simply dump every negative month onto the affiliate indefinitely.
When Does 21Partners Pay?
There is one inconsistency worth knowing about. Revenue Share is calculated monthly and payouts are issued within 10 business days after the end of the month.
The actual affiliate agreement gives payment terms of net 30, subject to being an active affiliate, clearing the $100 threshold and passing reconciliation and compliance checks.
I would plan around the longer contractual window rather than budgeting on the FAQ wording. Payment currency is whatever appears in your dashboard, and any FX, bank or processing charges fall on the affiliate.
Is 21Partners Worth Joining?
For a proper betting or casino publisher, there is quite a bit to like here. The RevShare starts at a respectable 25%, there is room for higher commercial deals, negative carryover is generally removed, and the reporting tools look serious enough for somebody managing real traffic rather than a handful of referrals.
The four-new-customer monthly requirement is the bit that changes the recommendation. If you already have traffic and expect regular registrations, it is workable. If you are a small publisher converting one or two players every few months, forfeiting Revenue Share in inactive months can quickly make a theoretically decent percentage irrelevant.
So I would look at 21bet as a programme for affiliates who can produce consistently, not simply affiliates attracted by the 35% figure on the homepage.
